1. Performs any combination of following duties to assemble ordnance and related devices, such as fuses, detonators, flares, ammunition, primers, and projectile boosters: Weighs powder and chemicals, according to formula and places ingredients in mixer. 2. Starts mixer and mixes powder with chemicals, and pours specified amount of mixture into cavity of ordnance device. 3. Places ordnance unit under microscope, positions components to be connected according to diagram, and solders or welds parts together. 4. Positions parts of device to be assembled in prescribed order and fastens parts together, using screws, bolts, and handtools.
