1. Operates jumpbasting sewing machine to temporarily secure fabric layers in position at armhole seam of coat or jacket: Positions armhole on machine bed and bastes to secure outer fabric, shoulder pad, and canvas interlining at armhole seam. 2. Repositions armhole and bastes on inside of coat to secure lining. 3. Performs duties as described under SEWING-MACHINE OPERATOR, REGULAR EQUIPMENT Master Title.
