Inspects work in progress and completed work for conformance to specifications and shop standards. 5. Prepares production and progress reports. 6. Inspects roll shop equipment and arranges for maintenance and repair work. 7. Initiates changes in work methods to improve worker performance and production efficiency. 8. Trains workers in operation of shop machines and equipment. 9. Keeps production and time records. 10. Requisitions materials and supplies.
