Loads specified stock into feeding mechanism. 3. Pushes starting button, and moves clutch lever to start machine and engage gears. 4. Makes adjustments to tool and toolholders, stock and guide tensions, and operating speed and lubricant flow to maintain machine setup, using handtools. 6. May operate bench grinder to reshape or sharpen edges of cutting tools.
