Pushes button to release punching ram, allowing defective sections of sheet to pass through and onto scrap conveyor. 3. Feels material to determine its flexibility as it enters machine and notifies CALENDER OPERATOR to adjust temperature of rolls. 4. Stops machine when jams occur and removes damaged floor tile to clear punch press.
