Loads blastholes and fires powder charges to loosen earth and rock. 3. Wedges, nails, or bolts timber or steel retaining structures to prevent cave-ins. 4. May work in caissons. 5. When concerned with erection of breast boards to shore tunnel heading, may be designated Breast Worker.
