Observes mat as it winds on tube and presses button to lower blade, cutting obvious flaws from mat. 3. Doffs rolls of mats from machine rack, using hoist, and reads scale indicator to determine weight of roll. 4. Packs roll of material in cardboard box, seals box, using gummed tape, and pastes label on container. 5. Records roll number, packer number, roll weight, and number of pieces in roll on label and production record.
