Investigates complaints regarding installation of heating and refrigeration equipment by unlicensed contractors. 6. Keeps records and prepares reports of inspections and investigations for use by administrative or judicial authorities. 7. May investigate installations where fire or death has occurred. 8. May determine percentage and acceptability of contract work completed for purposes of progress payments.
