Compares hardware on assemblies, subassemblies, and parts to parts list to verify installation. 3. Examines hardware for specified contact with conductor area. 4. Rejects faulty assembly, part, or component and records type and quantity of defects. 5. May measure parts to verify accuracy of dimensions, using precision measuring instruments. 6. May sort defective components and parts for salvage or scrap. 7. May inspect parts, using microscope or magnifier. 8. May be designated according to item inspected, as Capacitor Inspector; Electron Gun Inspector; Filter Inspector; Resistor Inspector; Tube Inspector.
