1. Tends furnace that heats scrapped small arms ammunition to explode powder and reclaim lead and brass: Pulls trucks of tote boxes from storage area to furnace hoppers. 2. Scoops or dumps primers or loaded cartridges into hopper. 3. Shovels exploded primers from furnace floor or skims cartridge and bullet cases from surface of molten lead, using skimming tool, and deposits them in containers, according to type of metal. 4. Ladles molten lead from furnace pot into pig molds. 5. Carries cooled pigs to storage area and stacks them on skids. 6. May burn waste powder in open pit by dumping it onto wood fire, using remote-control trolley.
